Christian Farstad CFA, CFP, FCSI — Wealth Advisor
Christian Farstad is Wealth Advisor with ScotiaMcLeod in Vancouver specializing in Retirement Planning for private clients and business owners. Christian has been quoted in the Globe and Mail, Wall Street Journal, National Post, Vancouver Sun and Dow Jones Newswires. Christian brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the investment services industry. In addition to his many years of practical knowledge, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with the Financial Planners Standards Council of Canada and a Licensed Life Underwriter.
Christian is extremely active in the community. He is an Olympian in the sport of Bobsleigh. He is a past President of Bobsleigh Canada Skeleton, past Executive Committee member of the Canadian Olympic Committee and present Secretary General of Olympians Canada. He assists with fundraising with local athletes and amateur sport organizations.
Christian and his spouse Maria have two young boys Gunnar and Graham.

Lori Lonstein — Administrative Assistant
Although Lori is new to ScotiaMcLeod, she has been working in the
industry for the past 2 years. Lori is a graduate from the University of
British Columbia where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a
major in psychology. She is committed to providing superior customer
service and is dedicated to meeting clients' needs.

Kathy Kushner — Senior Financial
Planning Consultant
Kathy has extensive experience in providing
financial planning advice to clients with complex and sophisticated
needs and goals. She draws on the breadth of expertise that she has
developed over her tenure in the financial services sector. Kathy is a
graduate of the University of Toronto with a degree in International
Relations.
She holds the Certified Financial Planner designation and the
Personal Financial Planning designation as well as the Canadian
Securities Course and the LLQP (Life Insurance). Kathy is an active
member of Advocis – the Financial Advisors Association as well as a
volunteer with the Financial Planners Standards Council.
Sharole McNiven — Private Banker
As a Private Banker at Scotia Private Banking,
Sharole is committed to delivering
superior service and meeting the banking needs of busy individuals and
their families.
Her experience in both personal and small business banking provides her
with a solid
understanding of the financial solutions offered through the Bank. She
has been with
the Scotiabank Group®and has worked in the financial services industry
since 1991.
Sharole has completed Personal Financial Planning Course through the
Canadian
Securities Institute.
Litza Anderson — Senior Will and
Estate Planner
Litza is responsible for providing advice and
guidance to Scotiatrust clients for their
will and estate planning strategies.
A Vancouver native, Litza grew up in Vancouver before moving to Ontario
for
University. Litza holds a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Bachelor of Arts
degree from
Queen’s University in Ontario. Prior to returning to Vancouver, she
clerked at the Tax
Court of Canada in Ottawa and worked for a few years in a law firm in
Toronto. Most
recently, she worked in the Cayman Islands in private practice for over
three years.
Litza is
called to the Bar in both British Columbia and Ontario (currently
non-practising in
Ontario). Memberships include the Law Society of British Columbia,
the Canadian Bar
Association (BC Branch), the Canadian Tax Foundation and STEP (the
Society of
Trust and Estate Practitioners). Litza is an active member of the
Executive of STEP-
Vancouver Branch.
Joyce Wong — Financial Consultant
As a Financial Consultant, Joyce works with you to establish your
financial priorities
and to create an integrated plan to meet all of your unique needs. Joyce
has worked
in the financial services industry for over twenty-three years and has
provided
specialized services to Scotiabank clients since 2005.
Joyce is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts program at the University of
British
Columbia. She has completed the Professional Financial Planning Course
and the
Canadian Securities Course, both through the Canadian Securities
Institute.
Joyce remains active in her community as a United Way branch
representative and
as a volunteer with BC Kids.
Jamie Wilson — Senior Advisor,

Jamie has a wide range of business experience, both within and outside
the financial services Industry. Jamie joined ScotiaMcLeod and the BC
Insurance team in 2003, but began working in the financial services
industry in 2001, including two years experience as an independent
